St. Matthew's N.S. has a very active school choir who participate in school masses, Sacramental events such as Communion and Confirmation and other community-wide events.

Each year we visit Thomond Lodge Nursing Home to perform a selection of Christmas Carols for the residents. St. Matthew's Choir also participates in the annual Christmas Carol Service which takes place each December in St. Matthew's Church Ballymahon with the Mercy Secondary School. 

Children from 2nd-6th classes are invited to participate in the school choir and we are very proud of the growing numbers of children who are involved in our choral events each year. Ms. Mc Loughlin leads the school choir alongside our musicians Ms. Spain, Ms. Rawle and Ms. O'Brien.
