The Division 3 B Final took place on the 18/05/2023 in Pearse Park. It was a closely contested game between St. Matthew's N.S. take on St. Dominic's N.S., Kenagh.
The first half saw Kenagh lead with a score of 3 goals to 4 points. St. Matthew's were down by 5 points at half time.
The second half started with another goal for Kenagh. This didn't stop the Ballymahon boys and they came back scoring 3 goals and 5 points. The referee blew the final whistle and Ballymahon were victorious by 5 points. The final score was 3.9 to 4.1 in favour of Ballymahon.
The player of the match was awarded to Michael Hegarty.
The boys enjoyed an evening of celebration in the Ballymahon clubhouse. Massive congrautualtions to all the players and their coaches, Mr. Walsh, Mr. Joyce and Mr. Farrell.
