Ms. Mollaghan's and Ms. Skelly's classes retuned to Summerview Equestrian today for the second horse riding lesson. They began the session by giving the ponies their morning groom to remove any mud and dirt, and check that their coat's were lying in the right direction. When everyone had finished Siobhan demonstrated how to tack the ponies and all the children then helped get their pony ready. Once the ponies were ready it was time for the children to prepare, so they all headed to the stables and they were fitted with their safety helmets. We then headed for the arena and the children had an opportunity to ride their pony around the ring. Today was an extremely successful lesson and we can't wait already for next week !!!
