School Tour 1st and 2nd classes

Both first and second classes had a brilliant day yesterday at their school tour. We went to Turoe Pet farm in Co. Galway. We had a small snack when we got there, then the children had great fun playing in the playground. They had time then to play in the indoor play area-jungle town, before going into the amazing inflatable city. This was a firm favourite among lots of the children. We then had a delicious hot lunch of chips, chicken and sausages with capri sun's before going out to do the tour of the pet farm. We saw, hens, rabbits, pigs, goats, sheep, peacocks, llama's, ponies, ducks and baby ducklings, a crocodile, donkeys, and cows. We also made some wishes at the wishing tree. We finished up by playing in the playground and astro turf. It was a wonderful day. Here are a few pictures of the day.
